Wine tasting at Recas
At only 30 km from Timisoara, in a landscape with low hills, there are the Recas Wine Cellars. The documents prove a tradition of over 500 years and it is well known that the plantations have been extended by the German colonizers, at the Viennese Royal Court's advice. The Pinot Noir wine won the silver medal at the prestigious competition of London, in spring 2006.
